Eclipse Marketplace and CDT Autotools

Jeff Johnston
I was looking at the Eclipse CDT and Complete Eclipse CDT marketplace packages and neither of them contains the Autotools plug-ins.  Should either have the Autotools feature or should it be packaged separately in a new package?  If either is updated to contain Autotools, could someone place add fileExtension_ac to the tags so that trying to edit a configure.ac file will recommend the package?

Thanks,

Re: Eclipse Marketplace and CDT Autotools

Doug Schaefer-3

I have no problem bundling them in. They were somewhat haphazardly put together. The regular Eclipse CDT one is meant to match what we have in the C/C++ Package. The Complete one should be everything we want people to try. It should probably be in both.

I’ve added you as an editor for these entries so feel free to add it in.

Doug.
